Greek Food - Recipe: Patates Yiahni

  Patates Yiahni
Potatoes and tomatoes

1-2 Clove Garlic (Finely Chopped)
4-5 oz Olive Oil
2 Medium Onion
1-2 Pinch Pepper (To Taste)
2 Whole Peppers (Of Your Choice)
2.2 lb Potatoes
2-3 Pinch Salt (To Taste)
4 Medium Tomatoes
  • Peel and wash the potatoes.
  • Cut into thick slices and set aside soaking on cold water.
  • Slice all the other vegetables and place in a baking dish with the oil, salt and pepper, and the potatoes.
  • Barely cover with hot water and cook in moderate oven until top becomes golden brown.
