Greek Food - Recipe: Makaronia me Tono

  Makaronia me Tono
A recipe from Asia Minor.

2-3 Whole Bay Leaves
1/2 Cup Cheese (Grated)
2-3 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 Pinch Paprika (To taste)
1 Bunch Parsley (Finely chopped)
1-2 Pinch Pepper (To taste)
2-3 Pinch Salt (To taste)
1 Package Spaghetti
2-3 Medium Tomatoes (Peeled & sliced)
2 Can Tuna
  • Peel and dice the tomatoes.
  • Add to a pan together with garlic, olive oil, bay leaves and seasoning and leave simmering until all the water from the tomatoes is absorbed.
  • In the meantime, prepare water and cook the spaghetti.
  • Drain the tuna and mix with well-chopped parsley.
  • As soon as the tomato mixture is reduced, add the tuna mixture and simmer until the mixture blends together (usually is about 5-10 mins extra time).
  • Leave sauce to cool.
  • When the spaghetti is ready, add cheese to the sauce and serve.
